No official source publishes presidential results for every House district, so these are PollCheck calculations from precinct returns.
For 2024 on the 2024 lines, each precinct's votes go to the district on its own House ballot (MIT Election Data and Science Lab returns), which matches the districts exactly. For 2016 and 2020, precinct votes are split between census blocks by population and added up inside each district. For 2024 on redrawn 2026 lines, each county's votes are split between the new districts in line with where each party's 2020 votes fell.
Official figures replace ours where a state publishes them (Texas on its 2026 lines, Maine's certified results), and official county totals fill gaps in precinct files. Against Texas's official figures, our 2016 and 2020 margins differ by 0.03 points or less on average, and our 2024 estimate differed by 0.6 points (at most 2.1).
